What are possessives?
Used to describe ownership (my, your, his, her, our, their)
Where should the possessive be positioned in a sentence?
Always before the described objects, i.e. ‘His couch is blue’ = ‘Su sofá es azul’
Gender and number rule
They must agree with the noun they describe in gender and number, i.e. ‘our salad’ = ‘nuestra ensalada’, ‘our cars’ = ‘nuestros carros’
Tu vs Tú
‘Tu’ is possessive, ‘Tú’ is the personal pronoun
