16
Q

What are Bordaduras?

A

A way of planting where on the edges of an agricultural field/vineyard are planted to grapes.

Picture a ‘Clos’ of Burgundy, but only the stone wall is planted to grapes, and what would be the vineyard inside the walls is planted to other agricultural crops (corn, etc.).

17
Q

What are Ramadas?

A

Synonym for the Pergola system of planting/training.

This is commonly used not only to heighten exposure to air to help stave off rot from the humid climate but also so a grower can plant other agricultural crops underneath to maximum their hectarage.

18
Q

What are Arjoes?

A

Vine training where the vines have not only climbed trees but they actually drape down from them or even get trained from tree to tree.

Kind of like Enforcado on steroids!
