Population Distribution an Population density- Term 4 Flashcards
Name 3 types of patterns to do with population distribution and explain what they are.
- Evenly spread pattern- a pattern that shows people living an equal distance from one another.
- Scattered pattern- a pattern that shows people spread out and living far from one another
- .Clustered pattern- a pattern that shows peole living in groups or clusters.

How do you work out the population density of a place?
Population ÷ size of the land = Population Density
What is the difference between high population density and low population density?

What is the population density of SA?

In INdia, there is a lot of space and also a lot of people. Singapore has little space but a lot of people, therefore creating a high population density.
