Became more radical after Russian revolution, refused to work with liberals and wanted their own revolution, supported land reforms and strikes and factory occupations

The PSI and PPI refused to work together despite having the majority due to conflicting ideas with extremist members of the parties

PSI and PPI once again had the most votes, but would not work together so Giolitti and the liberal party formed a government through trasformismo
