What is Christianity?
A
Christianity is a monotheistic religion based on the life, teachings, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, emphasizing faith in Him as the Saviour and adherence to His teachings

What beliefs do they live by?
A
According to the Gospel, the foundation of the Christian moral code is two principles;
- love God with everything you have
- love your neighbour the same way you love yourself

How do Christian view the environment? (3)
A
- As stewards of God creation, Christianity teaches that humans have a responsibility towards the environment
- Christian’s have a duty to do what they can to ensure they are environmentally responsible
- God is the creator of all things and humans need to work in partnership not only with God and the land, but with each other to ensure that the environment of the world today is nurtured and protected
