A
- deontological = duty based/right and wrong
- teleological ethics = focuses on consequences or outcome of actions to determine their morality (associated with utilitarianism)
- virtue ethics = emphasizes development of good character and good virtues over following rules or focusing on outcomes
- ethics of care = focuses on relationships, empathy, and care for others
- natural law theory = argues that moral principles are derived from the natural world and human nature
