PFD coupled Autopilot System Limitations (VFR): (there are 7)
A
- AP ops prohibited above 185 KIAS (system 55) or 180 KIAS (ssytem 55SR) and below 1.2Vs for given config.
- Not engaged for TO/LD
- Must be disengaged for Missed Approach, Go-Around, and Balked Landing
- Flaps must be set to 50% for AP Ops in ‘Altitude Hold’ at ASI below 95
- Flap deflection limited to 50% during AP ops
- AP must be disconnected in MOD-SEV TURB
- Min AP engage height is 400’ AGL

PFD coupled Autopilot System Limitations (IFR): (there are 10)

- AP must be disengaged no later than 100’ below the MDA
- AP must be disconnected during APRCH if course deviation exceeds 50%, hand fly remaineder
- AP must be disengaged at the DA
- 12 knot max XC component between MAP and OM
- Intercept of LOC shall occur at least 5nm outside the OM
- XC component between 12-17 knots, intercept shall occur at least 10nm outside the OM
- Intercept angle no greater than 45 deg
- ILS is flown at ‘normal’ approach speeds
- Flaps extended to approach config prior to OM
- Approach GS to allow automatic Arming (no more than 15% above if manual arming)w
