Advantages and Disadvantages of Fuel Injected systems
Advantages:
- Better fuel flow/throttle response
- Easier cold wx starts
- No carb ice
- Mixture control
Disadvantages:
- More expensive/complex
- Hard hot starts
- Vapor lock on ground during hot day
Advantages and Disadvantages of Carburated Fuel systems
Advantages:
- Cheaper/simpler
Disadvantages:
- Icing
- Does not function well during abrupt maneuvers
- Low pressure discharges lead to partial vaporization
