ACID for hypersensitivity
A
- A Type 1 antigen/IGE cross linking. Think allergic rhinitis, asthma, anaphylaxis
- C Type 2 Cytotoxic IgG/IgM activates complement. Think good pasture, myasthenia gravis, graves
- I Type 3 Immune complex formation, b/w IgG and antigen. Think SLE/post strep glomerulonephritis
- D Type 4 Delated, cell mediated, CD8+, TH1 directly kill cells, DM, Dermatitis
