What is pneumonia?
A
An inflation of the lung tissue, usually as a result of infection.
Usually caused by inhalation of microbes.

Pneumonia pathological changes.
A
Congestion due to presence of microbes.
Inflammation as a response to microbes
Exudate formation where there is leakage of protein rich fluid from capillaries into alveolar space.
Consolidation where their is accumulation of exudate in alveoli forming a solid mass.

Pneumonia symptoms.
A
Fever, sweating, shaking and chills Cough (productive) Chest pain Fatigue Nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea
