Define “tailoring”
The process of determining the appropriate combination of processes, inputs, tools, techniques, outputs and life cycle phases to manage a project
What is a project?
A project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique, product, service, or result
The end of a the project is reached when one or more of the following is true:

- The projec’s objectives have been achieved
- The objectives will not or cannot be met
- Funding is exhausted or no longer available for allocation to the project
- The need for the project no longer exists
- The human or physical resources are no longer available
- The project is terminated for legal cause or convenience
What are some examples in which the need for a project no longer exists?

How does the Project Management Institute define “business value”?

Define “project mangement”
Project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tooks, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements
Define “program”
A program is defined as a group of related projects, subsidiary programs, and program activities managed in a coordinated manner to obtain benefits not available from managing them individually
