Anonymous Christians
People who are open to God’s grace and living a Christian life but who are not Christians.
Exclusivism
The view that only Christianity fully offers the means of salvation.
Inclusivism
The view that although Christianity is the normal way of being saved (normative means of salvation), some outside Christianity might be saved because they were living the Christian life without realising it (anonymous Christians).
Pluralism
The view that there are many ways to salvation, of which Christianity is one path. Sometimes called theological pluralism.
Theology of religion
The aspect of theology (religious studies) that tries to evaluate what religion fundamentally is.
