A
  • pneumonia (most common exudate cause)
  • TB
  • subphrenic abscess
  • connective tissue disease: RA, SLE
  • neoplasia: lung cancer, *mesothelioma, metastases
  • pancreatitis
  • pulmonary embolism
  • Dressler’s syndrome
