What are the physical barries a plant has?
A
The cellulose wall strengthens plant cells to resist invasion of pathogens. The waxy cuticle on the surface of leaves acts as a barrier. Bark on trees form a protective layer

How do plants defend against herbivores?
A
Poisons to deter herbivores (e.g foxgloves). Thorns to make it painful to eat. Hairy stems so insects don’t lay eggs on them. Drooping or curling to frighten herbivors. Mimicry to make it look unhealthy
