In order of the longest operation time. From longest to shortest
Shortest operation time (SOT)
In order of shortest operation time to the longest
Forward scheduling
Starting to work as soon as it arrived
Backwards scheduling
Starting jobs at the last possible moment in order to prevent lateness.

Master production schedule
Outlines what a company intends to produce, in what quantities, and when, over a specific time period. Focuses on scheduling end products to ensure customer demand is met.
Bill of materials (BoM)
A comprehensive list of all the parts, components, raw materials, subassemblies, and instructions needed to manufacture a product.
Enterprise resource planning
A type of integrated software system used by organizations to manage and automate core business processes across departments.
