Pre-Season

A
  • Periodisation: Period before competition where trainer focuses on developing the fundamental of sport (6-12 weeks)
  • General Mesocycle: Focus on muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance
  • Specific Mesocycle: Focus on power, speed, ball control
  • As trianing approached competition, increase intensity and decrease voluem training
