Q

Why is pillgrimage important?

A

-Catholics believe Jesus is the ultimate source of moral authority so since Jesus went on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem during Passover they would consider it their duty to go on one too
-it can help strengthen their faith and put it into action by helping out the most vulnerable and volunteering
-the catechism of the Church teaches that “pilgrimage evokes our earthly journey towards heaven”
