How does Jewish pilgrimage impact their lives?
Jewish people will visit Jerusalem on pilgrimage to connect with God’s presence, the Shekhinah, which they believe can be felt in the Western Wall. They will write prayers and place them into small cracks in the wall, in the hope that God will receive them.
