How much of a threat was POG to Henry?
Many historians now consider it to be greasest internal threat H faced in his reign
- It would’ve been v difficult for H to gather an army big enough to fight against 35,000 men in the rebellion
- It was expected that rebels weren’t just in the north and it would expand
- Also fear that a foreign nation would use the disruption that rebels had caused to attack south. With little to stop them landing on the coast.
