What is transubstantiation?

A

Catholic -the belief that the bread and wine taken at communion are transformed into the blood and body of Christ

What is consubstantiation?

A

Belief that the body and blood of Christ are present in the bread and wine, but the bread and wine do not “transform. The idea of co existing of bread and flesh. Common sense says it’s bread but the flesh is within it of Jesus.
