Q

Step one of Calvin Cycle

A

CO2 diffuses into stroma from cytosol. Enzyme attaches CO2 to 5 carbon RuBP. 6 carbon molecule unstable and split into 2, 3 carbon molecule; 3-PGA.

Q

Step 2 of Calvin Cycle

A

Each 3-PGA converted into another 3 carbon molecule, G3P in two steps. First 3-PGA receives a phosphate from ATP and then it receives H+ from NADPH.
