A
A phobia is an irrational fear of an object or a situation

what are the 3 types of phobias?
A
- Specific phobias - specific objects/situations e.g. spiders, snakes
- Social phobias - anxiety relating to social situations e.g. public speaking
- Agoraphobia - a fear of being in situations where escape might be difficult

- panic = screming, crying
- avoidance
- endurance = face fear but high levels of anxiety
