A

Can’t feel anxious and calm at the same time so eventually one cancels putt the other.

Anxiety causes the sympathetic nervous system to activate so you eventually have to calm down as can’t be anxious forever.

A

-spontaneous recovery may occur so not a permanent solution.
-violating protection from harm (psychologically distressing).
-systematic desensitisation may be a better treatment.
