The process by which the physical universe is studies and understood.

Development of Physical Laws
A
- Gather DATA through observations and/or measurements. Factual information must be verifiable and reproducible.
- Create a MODEL of a mathematical representation of the data. Usually one or more equations.
- Very well tested models are generally accepted & become a THEORY. Theories are always subjects to modification or even rejection.
- A well “proven” theory becomes a LAW
