The positions of the Temperature Modulating Valves are automatically adjusted by the Air Management System Controller (AMSC) to mix precooled pneumatic supply air with Heat Exchanger cooled air to achieve the selected cockpit and cabin temperature. Additionally, the Vapor Cycle System (VCS) cycles on and off as required.
