A set of procedures to be followed by all pharmacy staff to comply with clinical governance and minimise harm.

A
- every pharmacy (hospital, community), for all activities
- does not apply to pharmacies which do not employ staff

What is clinical governance?
A
Something which all NHS premises must have procedures in place for. It is a duty to keep in place arrangements for the monitoring of and improving the quality of healthcare provided to individuals
