Pharmacology Flashcards
1
Q
What receptors are effected with Dopamine?
A
Beta1, beta2, alpha1, and dopamine receptors.
2
Q
With dopamine, what receptors are affected with a lower dose? (Under 10mcg/kg/min)
A
Beta1 (increase chrono and inotropy)
3
Q
With dopamine, what receptors are affected with a higher dose? (Over 10mcg/kg/min)
A
Alpha 1, constriciton of vasc smooth muscle and increased inotropy
4
Q
Beta 2 receptors affect what?
A
Smooth muscle in airways for dilation
5
Q
What dose is dobutamine and what receptor does it effect?
A
2-20mcg/kg/min (can go up to 40 but rare)
Beta-1 agonist
Increased inotrope is primary
(Some beta2 and alpha 1)
