Method: Orally

Use: Heart Attack
Avoid: signs of stroke or GI Bleed
Glucose Facts
Method: Orally
Dose: Liquid or tablet form
Use: Hypoglycemia
Avoid: Minimal unless Hyperglycemic
Oxygen Facts
Method: Inhaled
Dose: Varies with protocol
Use: Varies with protocol
Avoid: Prolonged high doses may cause oxygen toxicity
Albuterol Facts
Method: Inhaled
Dose: Varies according to medication
Use: Bronchospasm and Wheezing
Avoid: May cause tachycardia, dizziness, headache.
Epinephrine Facts
Method: Autoinjector
Dose: 0.3mg for greater than 66Lbs, .15mg less than 66lbs.
Use: Severe allergic reaction
Avoid: Alpha Blockers and Antihistamines
Nitroglycerin Facts
Method: Sublingually
Dose: .3mg - .6mg every 5 minutes x3
Use: Angina
Avoid: if MI is suspected, if ED medication has been taken
