treatment of phaeochromocytoma

A

surgical excision
combined alpha and beta adrenoceptor blockade with oral phenoxybenzamine (20-40mg/day) then propranolol (!20-140mg/day)

IV phenoxybenzamine for 2-3 days prior to surgery
