Life is not worth living. Explain
Solomon gained a pessimistic outlook on life. He wasn’t chasing significance and he gained a fetish for death. 
Describe Solomon when he got off track
Ended up worshiping foreign gods. This shows us, that wisdom without fear of the Lord produces the wrong conclusion
What was Solomon’s gift?
Gifted with wisdom.
Describe Solomons ruling
His actions led to the split of the kingdom because of the heavy taxation he had placed on the people. He allowed his concubines and wives to bring in their foreign guards. He spent more time building his own home than the Temple
What are the special circumstances?
Solomon walked away from God.
Solomon was full of wisdom.
Solomon has tremendous blessings.
Blessings did not prevent Solomon from deviating from God.
All of life is vanity. Explain
Inability to find fulfillment or substance.

Define vanity
Empty, a vapor, senseless.
Importance of the book
Wisdom can be retained despite man getting off track. Wisdom is not beneficial without God
