Avoidant, OCD, Dependent
What is paranoid personality disorder? What is its major defense mechanism?
You are paranoid and have distrust of everything
Projection
What is Schizoid personality disorder?
Schizoid (Distant)
What is Schizotypal personality disorder?
Odd appearance but still wants relationships
What is Antisocial personality disorder?
sociopath=criminal=violation of others
What is Borderline personality disorder? What is its major defense mechanism?
Unstable mood, self-mutiliation (always on the fence)
Splitting
What is Histrionic personality disorder?
Excessive showing off
What is Narcissistic personality disorder?
Grandiosity and sense of entitlement; earth spine b/c of them
What is Avoidant personality disorder?
Excessively shy but what needs to change is the world=> they want relationships
What is Obsessive Compulsive personality disorder?
Perfectionist; has to be done in a certain way
What is Dependent personality disorder?
Submissive and clinging
Avoidant vs Schizoid?
In avoidant, you are “Concerned” what other people might say to you
In Schizoid, you are fine with social isolation
