Q

What are the 3 steps of ‘Functional ROM Assessment’?

A

STEP 1:-
AROM first against gravity (gravity-eliminated if necessary)
- Ask to move through full ROM

STEP 2:-
PROM to stabilize joint
- To move slowly through normal range

STEP 3:-
AAROM for client’s best effort
- Client starts movement then we assist to complete full ROM
