PERF Flashcards
When must the ZFW and ZFWCG be manually entered on the FUEL PRED page?
If the takeoff Data Uplink/WDR is received after engine start
The wind data block depicts what?
- Wind and temp for all fixes past TOC and prior to TOD
2. Descent Forecast winds
Which significant changes require dispatcher notification?
- 100 mile deviations from route
- 4000’ from planned cruise for +30 min
- ETA +15 minutes
- Less than minimum FAR fuel reserves
- Greater than planned fuel consumption
Where are Takeoff and landing visibility requirements located?
Ops Specs in airway manual
Takeoff minima or approach minima as applicable
When is a Takeoff Alternate required?
When unable to return with Cat 1 minimums or better
What’s in the header block of the WDR
- Flight, ship, city pair number and release number
- WDR date and time
- Pax load, flight deck and FA jumpseaters
- Cargo load
What’s on the FMS block of the WDR
- FUEL - total and expected taxi
- TANK - quantities in respective tank rounded to hundreds
- RMWP - weight at gate, ZFWT, ZFWTCG
- TOWT - takeoff weight and TOGA CG
- FLAP/STAB - stab setting for each T/O flap setting
What’s on the performance block of the WDR
- Runway/intersection data
- Codes:
A. F/L1200CB - first/last cutback
B. CBL - cable extended at approach end
C. BAR - cable extended at departure end
D. BAK - cables raised at both ends - Perf Data good at or before intersection
What are the contaminate codes on the performance block
- D - dry
- W - wet
- I - ivy
- Q - quarter clutter (between .14 to .25)
- H - half clutter (.26-.50)
Can dry numbers be used for wet grooves runways
Must use wet numbers if runway is not dry
What is the number next to the contamination code in the WDR perf block
Assumed temp in C
What’s the meaning of TO in the perf block of the WDR
Full rated thrust
What’s the difference between the climb number and the RATOW number in perf block of the WDR
- Climb - climb limit weight
2. Runway allowable takeoff weight
What does the 01 next to contaminate level and assumed temp mean
- Flap setting
2. If there is a secondary contaminate then there could be a second flap setting. It will say ATTN MULTI FLAP
How can you identify the max wind values and takeoff speeds in perf block
- Under WIND - HW means minimum needed, TW means max allowed
- V1, Vr, V2
