EMERGENCY

stabilize pt
protect eye
keep NPO, elevate head
start IV broad spectrum ABs
head and orbit CT
remove foreign body

if pt develops vitritis: endophthalmitis -> vitrectomy

fracture of orbit floor due to trauma

symyptoms: endophthalmos, limited eye movements, maxillary anesthesia

pain, diplopia, double vision, limited eye movements with hx of eye trauma

management:
NPO iv antibiotics , head and orbit CT, surgery
