A

Medical emergency not a surgical emergency correct metabolic derangements and volume resuscitate prior to surgery, gastric gastric decompression prior to operating room, rapid sequence intubation, minimize opioids, hypochloremic metabolic alkalosis from vomiting decreases respiratory drive ,additional opioids will worsen respiration.
