A test to measure wow well you can breath out air and it’s used to assess lung function

Pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, asbestosis, scoliosis, ankylosing spondylitis, myasthenia Gravis, guillain barre

Current control/impact on: sleep, social life, work, exercise, mood
Presenting complaint
How are you feeling?
Any recent illness or infections?
Any SOB
Is there any time when your condition is worse?
Red flags
Wheeze is getting worse, affecting ADLs, Waling up at night with symptoms, using deliver inhaler more than usual
Drug history
How well controlled?
What meds do you take?
How often do you use inhalers
Do you take any other medications
Do you take any beta blockers
Check inhaler technique
Social history
Pets
Recent travel
Work
Allergies
Housing situation
Hayfever
Smoking
Alcohol
Advice
Stop smoking, avoid precipitants, vaccination, exercise, eating
ICE
Reassure patient that it’s ok that it dips through the day
