Non specific acute inflammation marker that can indicate infections, cancer and autoimmune disorders
What diseases present with high CRP
RA, AS, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, crohns, UC, Vasculitis, Pancreatitis, IE, Abcesses
What diseases are similar but need differentiation in terms of crp
RA vs SLE

Causes of raised CRP
Burns, trauma, infections, chronic inflammatory disease, MI, IBD, Cancer
What is ESR
Indicates inflammation
