What are the primary components of an appliance inspection?
Check appliance is in operational condition.

What is making up and its primary components?
Making up is the process of restocking an appliance after an incident or exercise.
Main components:
Try to only strip one appliance
MD is responsible for all gear so must be informed if something is taken
Equipment colour coded to appliance
Clean and re-grease gear after use
Replace used items and dispose of single use gear.
What is re-stowing and its components?
Swapping into a spare appliance until primary appliance fault fixed or missing equipment replaced.
Components:
Spare appliance needs to be stocked with personal equipment e.g BA
Make note of gear transferred
Check inventory of appliance your restowing too.
Check and test operational equipment.
Check fitted radios
The Five R’s of fault reporting

Describe a Reticulated System.
A reticulated system is one that is divided into pressure zones each of which are supplied by at least one local reservoir. A reservoir is supplied via a trunk main by a water treatment plant which are in turn supplied by a water supply such as a dam.
What is Pressure?
Pressure is force of which of water is delivered.
What is flow?
Quantity of water delivered
