What do yellow lines do?
Separate traffic moving in opposite directions
What do broken yellow lines mean?
Drive in the right side of the road and pass with care
What do solid yellow lines mean?
NO-passing zone
What do double solid yellow lines mean?
Neither side may cross the lines
What do solid & broken yellow lines mean?
You may not pass if the solid yellow line is on your side. If the broken yellow line is in your side, you may pass if it is safe to do so
What are the exceptions to crossing a double yellow line?
You may cross for a left turn into an alley, private road, or driveway when such movement can be made safely
What do white lines do?
Separate lanes of traffic moving in the same direction
What does a broken white line mean?
You may change lanes if it is safe to do so
What does a solid white line mean?
Required to stay within the lane. Also marks the shoulder of the roadway
Can you pass a vehicle that is stopped at a crosswalk?
Nope
