Employment involving the collection of raw materials
What is the secondary sector?
Secondary industries are those that take the raw materials and process them into manufactured goods and products
What is the tertiary sector?
The tertiary sector is also called the service sector and involves the selling of services and skills
What is the quaternary sector?
The quaternary sector is a relatively new type of employment which consists of those industries providing information services such as ICT, consultancy and R&D
What are LEDCs?
Less economically developed countries
What are MEDCs?
More economically developed countries
