Q

What are the goals of tactical concepts?

A

1) Diminish the possibility of resistance to the application of proper tactics.
2) Raise the level beyond what the threat is willing to bear
3) Create an advantage for yourself and recognizable disadvantages for the threat. Proper tactics can increase officer, citizen, and threat safety and decreased use of force.
4) Once the concepts are learned you simply need to decide how they apply to each situation.
