What are the three elements of a OC canister?
- Active Ingredient (Usually pepper oil)
- Carrier (Either water or alcohol)
- Propellent
What the the three common OC delivery systems?
- Foam
- Mist or Cone

What is the minimum distance for OC deployment?
3 feet (If tactical feasible)
What is the “Hydraulic Needle Effect”?
The pepper oil and other ingredients of the spray, in some circumstances, could penetrate into the soft membranes of the eyes and thin skin area.
What are the three remedies for OC spray?
- Air
- Water
- Time
With the exception of OC, all other less lethal options should avoid what target areas?
Unless deadly force is justified

What is the max range of a 12 gauge bean bag?
Max effective range of 60 feet. ( Accuracy of 4” or better at 60 yards)
What is the max range of the taser M26/X26
- Max ranges or 21, 25 and 35 feet.
- Optimum effective range of 10-15 feet.
What is the target area when deploying a taser?
Taser recommends aiming the top probe to impact BELOW center mass. If possible, one probe should impact above the belt line and the second should impact below the belt line.
