What are the different types of transmission and examples

A

Direct contact - sexual contact intercourse
Water - dirty water can transmit diseases if drank
Air - sneezing can spray droplets continuing infected particles to others
Unhygienic food prep - undercooked or reheated foods can cause bacterial diseases
Vector - any organism that can spread diseases is called a vector

Falcon-oral - injection of food contaminated by faeces of an infected bird (salmonella)
Aerosol - inhalation of infectious particle sin the air
vertical - infection passing from an adult to offspring embryo
