Severe pain
Diffuse swelling
Patellar / Quadriceps Tendon Gap
Hypermobile patella
High Riding Patella
CHECK EXTENSOR MECHANISM: Unable to actively extend knee

A

Knee Series: AP / Lat / Skyline
Usually normal
May show a high riding patella on lateral view
+/- avulsion at the tibial tubercle
