A

Attempting to commit an offence that was impossible to commit eg puts hand in bag attempting to steel wallet but turns out there’s no wallet in there to take. Can still be convicted.

A

Everyone who, having an intent to commit an offence, does it omits an act for the purpose of accomplishing his object, is guilty of an attempt to commit the offence intended, whether in the circumstances it was possible to commit the offence or not.
