- fast technological and cultural changes has damaged children’s physical, emotional and intellectual development

- childhood is disappearing at a dazzling speed due to tv culture
- kids can now access adult content that they previously weren’t able to
now children kids commit adult crimes and wear adult clothing

- age of consent in the 1950s used to be 20 but its not 16
