signs/sx
- stooped posture, rigid back, masked face, forward trunk tilt

  • precursor for dopamine
  • stable enough to pass BBB = decarboxylated to dopamine = effect

side effects
- confused, hallucination, delusion, psychosis, agitation

sudden withdrawal = neuroleptic malignant syndrome
- high fever, involuntary fever, muscle rigidity
