- obsessive thoughts and emotions
- feeling the relationship is real in some way

- extreme uncontrollable behaviours for a celebrity

- para social relationships are an attempt to escape reality of their own lives and their own relationships

- attempting to feel closer to them

- poor childhood relationships are thought to not provide an effective internal working model
