Direct Smear procedure
- put 1-2 drops of saline on a slide 2. Mix a fleck of stool sample onto slide, add cover slip 3. with condenser down- scan on 10x and ID on 40x

Fecal Float procedure
- Fill fecalyzer 2/3 full with Fecasol or Zinc Sulfate 2. Add pea size fecal sample, mix well 3. Let sit 8-10 min with cover slip on top 4. Put cover slip on slide and scan on 10x, ID on 40x
