Q

Investigations for Paraproteinaemia?

A
  • Serum protein electrophoresis - total protein, paraprotein quantification, protein typing, immunoglobulins
  • FBC
  • Blood film
  • ESR
  • Urine - Bence Jones’ protein usually indicates myeloma, amyloidosis
